Automotive & outdoor power solutions

Vehicles, campsites, boats and remote sites share one problem: the power you need is not the power that is available. Inverters and charging accessories close that gap.

What this application asks of a supply

The requirements a buyer in this sector compares before a quote.

Surge, not just rating
Motor loads and compressors draw several times their running current at start-up; the peak figure has to cover that.
DC input
Battery voltage and its real range (charging versus resting), matched to the vehicle or pack it is wired to.
Environment
Vibration, dust and temperature swing outside the cabin decide the enclosure and the terminals.
Wiring
Cable gauge, fuse rating and connector type agreed with the installer, not guessed at the end.

What we plan for

The checks we build into the specification, not the datasheet.

  • Input voltage and socket type matched to your market, not just your prototype.
  • Peak and continuous load stated separately in the specification, so the inverter is not sized on the running figure alone.
  • Market standards planned from the start: the hybrid models carry CE to IEC 62109-1 and -2, and the target list is agreed per project.

Questions buyers ask first

The three questions that come up before a project starts.

How do I size an inverter for a motor load?

Start from the appliance’s running watts, then check its start-up surge — usually two to three times the running figure for a pump or compressor. Our hybrid models publish both figures: for example 6,200 W continuous and 12,000 VA peak for 5 s.

Can the same model run off-grid and on the grid?

Our single-phase hybrid models run off-grid, grid-connected, or batteryless. The mode is a configuration choice, so one SKU can serve a cabin and a grid-tied installation.

What about battery packs and cables?

DC cords and connector sets are part of the accessories range, and cable length and gauge are confirmed against your installation drawing before the order is released.

Send the appliance list, its surge figures and the installation environment in your project brief; the product pages carry the full input and output ranges.
